Grid Locator Finder 3.1

The application allows users to tap anywhere on the map to display the Grid Locator Reference. This feature serves as a valuable tool for amateur radio operators planning portable or mobile operations, as well as large-scale DX expeditions.

An active internet connection is required to utilize this functionality.

When zooming in to street level, the app provides a 10-digit grid locator, offering a more detailed positioning reference.

Note: Typically, the Grid Locator is represented as a 6-digit code as defined by ARRL standards. The 10-digit locator shown here is an expanded format, where the 7th and 8th characters are divided by 10 ("0" through "9"), and the 9th and 10th characters are divided by 24 ("a" through "x"). This encoding scheme is derived from information available on Wikipedia.
